The countdown is on…

Only 6 hours until I am officially on holidays until July 7th. And I can’t wait! I really need the week off since I’ve been feeling very much like a zombie lately.

This afternoon is my appointment with the midwife and CT will be coming with me. I have a written list of questions to ask. Provided that we feel comfortable with the midwife, we will go with her as the primary caregiver for the pregnancy. I’m sure we’ll like her since I’ve heard great things about this practice.

Tonight, we have to go to visit CT’s grandparents since they are leaving on Tuesday to go back to Portugal. They have been here a year and a half now and they just want to go home. I guess they complain all the time and want to be buried in Portugal, so they are going back and likely won’t come back to Canada. So, we’re going to say goodbye to them tonight, which I’m sure will be hard for CT.

Then tomorrow, we are heading to the cottage and are planning to stay until Wednesday afternoon. I wanted to be back in time for my Pilates class on Wednesday evening. Thursday, we are planning to do a shopping day with my mom and then we’ll spend that weekend cleaning up around the house and doing errands and such. I’m sure the week will go by quickly, time off always does!

I'm so glad that your mom has her job!!!! I missed your post from Wednesday I guess and I was gone all day yesterday, but belated congrats to your mom!

And boo to crazy lady.

She's pretty happy! She received her offer letter and hand-delivered the signed copy since she couldn't trust that crazy lady wouldn't tamper with it if she sent it in the inter-office mail. So, she went and physically handed it in so that she's sure they got it.

So it's official now! I'm so happy for her and I hope crazy lady leaves soon. Apparently she is very unstable and everybody is just waiting for her to snap.
