TGIF

So glad it’s Friday! And today I am tuning into a webcast from 10:30 until 2:30, with a break for lunch. So, should be an easy day. And we’re having a potluck lunch today here at work and all the dishes had to start with “J”. I think we have 3 dishes with Jalapenos in them, but I was the only one of the 3 that signed up on the list, so it’s not my fault. I made Jalapeno nacho dip. Can’t wait until lunchtime! We usually have a potluck every month or two, and they’re always so yummy! I will be doing the TurboJam Cardio Party tonight to burn some of the calories from lunch off.

Today is my Dad's last day of radiation treatment! Yay! He found it very tiring to work half time, take the bus to Toronto for his appointment, and then bus it back. Yesterday, it took him 3 hours to get to Toronto on the bus because of the weather! My whole family is really glad that today is his last treatment.

I hope everyone has a great day and an awesome weekend! Lj and nej, looking forward to seeing you both tomorrow! I’m looking forward to going to the Festival of Trees, I haven’t been since the time we went 2 years ago.

EDIT 1:20pm:

CT let me know that our marriage certificate came in the mail today - yay! That didn't take too long! It takes 10 weeks for the marriage to be registered, and then another up to 3 to get the certificate. Well, I applied right at the 10 week mark (you know me) and we got it today. Tomorrow, we will have been married for 11 weeks.

So, I can get started on the name change process. First up is drivers license and vehicle ownership, which I will tackle sometime in the next 2 weeks. The rest of the stuff I'll leave until my time off at the end of December.

Hey C-dub!

I'm coming tomorrow afternoon, but I probably won't be staying overnight. I think I might have the flu (It turns out I had a fever yesterday). I do want to see you guys, but I don't want to get anyone sick if I can help it. So I'll be up for the festival of trees and dinner, then I'll probably head home. :(

This is so not like me to be sick. I hardly ever get sick like this. I don't even remember the last time I had a fever...

Well I would say pack your overnight stuff anyways and see how you feel. That way you have the option of staying over if you are feeling better tomorrow. Otherwise, you can head home like you said.

I hope you feel better real soon!

Yeah, I'll do that. :)

I seem to have some appetite back anyway! :D

Oh, question... are we planning on going out tomorrow night? Should I pack "going out" clothes?

:)

We haven't really talked about it. I would say pack some 'going out' clothes just incase and then you're covered either way. We may just decide to stay in and drink wine instead ;) I will have some bottles chilled just incase... 5 perhaps? ;)

Glad to hear you have some appetite back, that's a step anyways!
