I guess I have a case of the “Mondays”. I just want to go home and crawl in my nice warm bed and sleep. I just am feeling really tired this morning and I am having problems concentrating on work. Hopefully after I get some lunch in me, I’ll have a little more energy. I sure hope I’m not coming down with something! I’ll start taking some Echinacea anyways, it can’t hurt.
I had a really good weekend. My visit with Liz was great. I got to show her our house and she loved it. The good thing was that because she was coming, that gave me the motivation to do some cleaning and our house looks pretty darn good right now. Well, except for the office, that room still needs some major work. All in due time, can’t do it all in one weekend!
Mom and I had a girls night on Saturday night, which was really fun. I don’t think I’ve had 1-on-1 time with her since before the wedding anyway. I made a delicious dinner and we watched 2 movies: the Holiday and the Nanny Diaries. Both of them were good. By the time we were done, it was 12:30, I haven’t stayed up that late in awhile! It was funny though, within about 3 minutes of us finishing the last movie, that’s when CT got home from the Bachelor party he went to. Is that good timing or what?!?
So here we are at another week. Tonight after work, a bunch of us are going to decorate our company tree in the Festival of Trees. So that should be fun!
EDIT 1:20pm
I'm feeling much better now that I've had lunch and some caffiene. I guess I was just tired!

How was the tree decorating?
I'm starting to feel Christmas-y already... For some reason, I'm really looking forward to it this year! :)
It was fun. We did and outdoor adventure theme and decorated it with carabeeners, nalgene bottles, campling stuff, climbing rope, company fishing lures, and had canoe paddles leaned up against the tree and fleece blankets with our logo under the tree.
If you're interested, we could check out the fesitval on Saturday. Heres the link: http://www.pfot.org/ It's really neat to see all the different trees and who knows, we could win one! It's on until 4 on Saturday, so it's something to keep in mind anyways.
Oops, it actually goes until 6pm on Saturday and is open on Sunday too. My bad.
That would be cool! I like doing that sort of stuff. :)
Right now, I'm thinking that I'll probably be to your place for around 2 or 3. So we'd have lots of time to look at the pretty trees!
Sounds great!
Lj, Margo, and I went 2 years ago and it was a lot of fun. And admission is only $5, so you can't beat that!
Oh right. That was a bad time for me. Sometimes it's hard to believe it's been two years since my accident and that hell of working in Scarborough... *shudder*
What time do you want us there C-dub? We have my work christmas party on Friday night and are staying over in London. We could probably make it there for mid afternoonish.
Lj, guess you didn't check your email yet ;)
Mid-afternoon would be great. We could head to the Festival of Trees around 4ish and then go for dinner after that (if that's okay with you gals).
