For the last couple of weeks, I have been really tired and haven’t felt like doing much in the evenings after work. I also wasn’t exercising like I used to. So, I made it a point to start back into exercising. Yesterday after work, even though I didn’t really feel like it, I used my treadmill. For the first time since before the wedding. I found that afterwards, I had WAYYYYYY more energy than before I started. Usually, I am falling asleep on the couch around 9 or 9:30pm, but last night I stayed up until 10:30pm AND I woke up before my alarm went off at 6:00am. I think I will have to make it a point to start making exercise part of my routine. I’m going to start with 3 times per week, no exceptions. I’m hoping the weather will be nice this weekend because I want CT and I to go for a walk in a local park to see the fall colours. Of course right now they’re predicting rain for Saturday, but Sunday looks nice.
I also feel like I have a lot more energy today. Yay! I have my energy back!!! I think this has given me the motivation I need to keep up with exercising.

I went on my treadmill yesterday too. I've been reading this book and it says that the key to dieting and exercise is to not give yourself a choice. As soon as you do, your motivation can go out the window or you'll find reasons why you can't/shouldn't exercise.
That's good advice.
That's part of my problem; more often than not, I find a reason why I should not exercise a given time. I always find some excuse. So, from now on, I am very determined to exercise 3 times per week no matter what. I'm not giving myself a choice, I'm just going to do it!
Yeah, that's what I've had to do. Same with when I want something like chocolate and don't have the points for it. I just say "It sucks that I can't have that, but I've got no choice."
So far (as in, today), it's working. ;)
Can I have some of your spare energy? :)
I always have more energy when I'm working out. not sure why that is.
With the exception of when I'm training for Marathons of long triathlons.
Ya, it's sort of counter-intuitive, isn't it? You'd think you'd be tired after a workout, instead I find it energizes me... strange.
I completely agree. After exercising, I always have way more energy. My mood is usually elevated too.
