Well, our wedding photos are absolutely gorgeous! Now I have to try to figure out which one I want to use for our thank you cards. I have it narrowed down to about 5 or so ;) I want to have that chosen by the end of the weekend so I have them printed one day next week. Good old Walmart at 19 cents per 4x6 (they don’t do ones smaller, so we’re going to print 2 smaller photos on each 4x6 and then just cut them ourselves). I will also get some prints made of some of my favorite photos so I can make a little album to carry around in my purse so when people ask to see pictures, I can whip it out!
We’re going to get started on the thank you cards this weekend, so hopefully we can get a good chunk done and then finish them up in the next few weeks. I would love to get them out by the end of October. That’s what I’m working towards.
Tomorrow night I get to bake a pumpkin pie for my Thanksgiving dinner potluck at work on Friday. And then I am going to bake another one on Monday for the Thanksgiving dinner at Carlos’ parents. YUMMM! I love Thanksgiving! With all the yummy food, nice weather, and time with family, it should be an awesome one! Three turkey dinners for me: Friday, Sunday, and Monday! I’ll have to make sure I get lots of exercise in too so I don’t gain a bunch of weight this weekend!
In the spirit of Thanksgiving, I thought I would throw this out there: what are you thankful for? Me, I'm thankful for my wonderful husband and the best friends a girl could ask for! I'm also thankful that although we have our quirks, I have a really close family. I am also thankful for the challenges I face, as I know they teach me things and make me grow.

I am thankful for Nora. My dad was in a bad place after my mum passed away and now with Nora there I don't worry about him as much. Also, he is back to his happy old self that he always was. I know he still misses mum (as do we all) but I'm happy that he has had a second chance at love.
I am thankful to live in Canada. I am also thankful that I had the opportunity to get a decent education so that I could work in a job that I enjoy and live a fantabulous lifestyle.
I too, am thankful for a fabulous husband, especially since he is good at picking up Bailey doo-doo and is an exceptional guinea pig owner (he kisses, snuggles and sings to the guinea pigs - every morning!).
I am thankful for my wonderful husband, without whom I don't know how I would have made it through labor. I'm thankful for the safe (and timely) arrival of our adorable son, Logan. And, I am thankful that being pregnant seems to be a good thing for my sister - although her BF is still in the picture, she has quit smoking, learned the value of a dollar, and has really been re-connecting with family (especially me - we have barely talked since she became a crack addict when I was still in university... now she calls me if she's bored or to ask me something about pregnancy/babies).
I'm thankful for you ladies (obviously). I'm also thankful for spellcheck, google and the sense of humour that I was born with. Those three things have taken me very far in life and gotten me where I am today. Oh, and Nine West. Love that store! :)
Nej... you crack me up! ;)
Hehehe I was quite serious about Google, and Nine West. I don't remember what life was like before Google... imagine, going to libraries!?! :O
And life is just hilarious. :)
Oh my goodness... I just realized that I haven't thanked you, C-Dub, for Logan's present! I seem to have lost my mind - please return it if you find it. :)
I *love* the little Habs jersey... and my Dad will get a kick out of it when Logan's big enough to wear it! Thanks a bunch!!! (I'm still attempting to get my thank you cards done.)
So glad you liked the present... I must say it was a little *difficult* for me to buy a Habs item, but you're worth it! ;)
