C-dub's World

Last night, CT and I went out with his parents for their 36th anniversary. Wow, 36 years, that’s a long time! We went to Red Lobster. It was YUMMY!!!!

Tonight, I am planning on going for a walk after supper with my mom. We’ll see how this after supper walk thing works out. That’s usually when I’m in full couch potato mode, so I am determined to get out and exercising! We were supposed to go yesterday, but I had to cancel because CT’s parents called at 5 asking us to go for dinner to celebrate their anniversary.

In terms of wedding stuff, the men go for their tux fitting on Saturday and then we may go up to the cottage for the rest of the weekend, we’ll see. My mom is leaving on Friday for her trip to Moosonee, and she’s gone until Wednesday.

Oh, and for those of you who have been to my family’s cottage, I have good news! My grandma has bought a new (to us) couch for the cottage! Anybody who has been to my cottage know that the current couches are ancient and INCREDIBLY uncomfortable. So this is very exciting news! Hopefully the new couch will be out there this weekend!

Oh, and I really like Mrs. JB’s idea for the game at the wedding, does anybody else have any ideas?

We had 2:

1) we brought hoola-hoops, and people had to get up & hoola-hoop if they wanted us to kiss.

2) people had to sing a song with our names in it...one that i can remember was the happy birthday song, but it was made into "happy anniversary"...there was a flintstones song and a bunch of others.

Chris came up with the ideas. Actually when we went to Mike & Amanda's wedding they had the exact same games. We were quite touched that they decided to use our ideas.

My dad and Nora did the same as Niki suggested, sarah and wes did where tables have to sing a song with the word "love" in it.

I hoola-hooped at burgers wedding :)

I love the hoola-hoop one... that's hillarious! Where did you get that idea, Burger?

It was all Chris. I wrote the vows, he organized the reception thingy. It all worked out (I got the easier part of the deal!).

Thanks for the ideas! Lots of good ones to choose from. I love the hoola hoop idea as well as the one Mrs. JB suggested.
