Can I go home now?

I just saw the most hideous looking spider in my office. It was crawling up the wall, and one my coworkers was in there with me, so he grabbed it by the web and put it on my desk... THANKS BUDDY! Then, I knocked it off my desk with a book so that I could stomp on it, but then it crawled under my desk and I have not been able to find it since. I am totally grossed out. I have never seen a spider like this. It was big and black with yellow markings. I'm scared! I keep thinking it's going to start crawling on he or something. Makes me really want to leave my office. Is it 5:00 yet?

I know, I'm being a baby.

Ewwww. That is disgusting and I hate when I see a spider and can't get rid of it. If it happens in my bedroom I literally can't sleep until I *know* the spider is gone.

I'm a baby too. I'm even worse with bees and earwigs. *shudders*

I would take a bee or an earwig over a spider any day. I don't know why I hate spiders so much. Must be the 8 legs thing; that's just not right!

I'm okay if I'm outside and I see a spider crawling along (as long as it's not on me)... it's when the spider comes in to MY environment that I don't like.

It's really creeping me out not knowing where it is. If only my coworker hadn't flung it towards me. I would have been able to kill it if it hadn't crawled under my desk and disappeared!

Glad I'm not the only one who is afraid of insects and arachnids ;)

Nope, I'm bad with a lot of bugs. Some are indoor only problems (i.e. earwigs and spiders) but some are anywhere (BEES).

I've been terrified of bees since I was 4. One flew into my pocket (and I didn't know) and when I put my hand in my pocket, I felt something on my pinky finger. I looked at my hand and there was a honey bee crawling on it. I was fascinated until it stung me. Then I cried. A lot.

Since then, I hate them. :(

Well, I did see a spider in the bathroom, and it looked very similar to the one in my office yesterday. So, I am telling myself it was the same one. I killed it, so hopefully that's it for spiders around here!

I tend to get a little jumpy around anything that has more than 4 legs! :D
