Less than 1 hour 'til puckdrop at the ACC! I am SO excited that the NHL is back in action. Hopefully my leafs can actually win the cup this year! I am hopeful every year...
I sent BD a short happy birthday email this morning (his birthday is today). I also decided that I would send him the birthday present I ordered for him, but not the card (since it was all mushy and stuff and it didn't really apply anymore). I thought about it a lot, and I decided that I do want him to have the gift. I picked it out for him, and I want to send it to him. So, I will mail it off tomorrow. Just because he is behaving like a cowardly jerk, doesn't mean I can't still be nice. I can't turn my feelings off like a tap like he seems to have.

Have I mentioned how much I detest Daniel Alfredsson lately? I really really do. I think it's the smugness that always seems to be around him. Oh and Chris Neil is an ass. Still.
I'm sorry the Leafies lost last night. We really seemed to stick it to Ottawa for most of the game which was great. The big E and Babe McCabe each scored too! Sweet. Oh, and I loved how Jeff O'Neill dove into Dominic Hasek towards the end of the game! That guy is my new favourite!
I really hope Mats is back in time for Sunday so we can stick it to the Sens again. After all, winning by a shootout solves nothing. ;o)
I LOATHE Alfredsson. I was shocked to see the head shave. I rather enjoyed calling him the freaky-haired a$$. Now he's just a$$.
It's not like the Leafs lost bad to Ottawa - from what I hear, it was a good game. And... it had to go to a shoot-out... that's not a 'real' loss! ;)
